INVITATION FOR BID
MANNAR PRADESHIYA SABHA
- The ChairmanDivisional Procurement Committee on behalf of the MannarPradeshiya Sabha,invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Construction works described in the table below. All the relevant details are described in the same table.
- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding Procedure (NCB).
- To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall not have been blacklisted and shall have been registered with the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) in the field of Road construction/Building construction for grade mentioned in the table below. “Bidders shall also register themselves with the Registrar of Public Contracts Sri Lanka, in terms of the public contract Act No. 03 of 1987 for the contracts exceed Rs. 5 million”
- Qualification requirements are indicated in section 4 of the Procurement document. Additional details are provided in Schedule (Section 5) for SBD 3Documents.
- Interested bidders may obtain further information from address given below in 6 and inspect the Procurement document at the same place on any working days from 2025.05.22To 2025.06.11 during 9.00 hrs to 14.00hrs.
- A complete set of Procurement Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Secretary, MannarPradeshiya Sabha, Kattaspathiri, Pesalai(T.P No: 0232050001, Fax No: 0232050002) during the period from 22ndMay 2025 until 11th June 2025 from 9.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs upon payment of a non-refundable fees of Rs. 3500.00. - Bids (Original & Duplicate) shall be delivered or sent by registered post to the Chairman, Procurement Committee, MannarPradeshiya Sabha, Kattaspathiri, Pesalaion or before 14.30 hrs on 11thJune 2025Bid number must be written on the left-hand upper corner of the envelope. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders or bidder’s representatives who choose to attend.
- Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid security/Refundable cash Deposit/Bank Draft as per the information given in the table.
- Pre-bid Conference will be held on 30th May 2025 at 10.30 hours in MannarPradeshiyaSabha Main Office Kattaspathiri, Pesalai. Interested Bidders may attend the pre-bid meeting at their own expenses.
